Thin layer chromatography and silica gel column chromatography were used to study the chromatography effect of different developing agents, and the most suitable developing agent was selected. Results the results of thin-layer chromatography of artemisinin sample solution under five kinds of developing agents were observed. It can be seen that when the developing agents are petroleum ether ethyl acetate (80:20) and n-hexane-ether (80:20), the solute has good solubility and selectivity, and can be used as eluent of column chromatography.
